The short version: Seenthrough analyzes the text you paste in using Anthropic's Claude AI, and stores your account data and analysis history securely with Supabase. We never sell your data or use it to train AI models, and you can delete your account and everything in it anytime.
Overview
Seenthrough ("we," "our," "us") is owned and operated by Nybrik Labs Limited, a company registered in Nigeria, and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data.
This policy applies to all users of the Seenthrough mobile application worldwide and complies with the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), CalOPPA, and other applicable international privacy laws.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Email address (required for account creation)
- Name (used for personalization)
- Text, messages, and documents submitted for analysis
- Age (year of birth, collected for age verification — not stored permanently)
Information collected automatically:
- Analysis count and usage frequency
- Daily streak data
- App settings and preferences
- Device type and operating system (via Sentry crash reports, anonymous)
- Crash and error reports (anonymous, via Sentry)
Information we do NOT collect:
- Payment information (handled entirely by Apple)
- Location data
- Contacts or address book
- Photos or camera data
- Microphone or audio data
- Biometric data
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Perform text analysis using our AI service
- Save your analysis history so you can access it later
- Personalize your experience (greeting with your name, tracking your streak)
- Send password reset emails when requested
- Send trial expiry notifications (if you have enabled notifications)
- Fix bugs and improve app stability
- Comply with legal obligations
We do NOT use your information to train any AI model, sell to third parties, send unsolicited marketing emails, build advertising profiles, or share with other users.
Data Storage and Security
Where your data is stored: your data is stored in Supabase's PostgreSQL database infrastructure. Supabase uses industry-standard cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.
Security measures we implement:
- Row Level Security (RLS) on all database tables — users can only access their own data
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Secure authentication via Supabase Auth
- API keys stored server-side only — never in the app bundle
- Email verification required for all accounts
- Session management with automatic token refresh
Data retention: active accounts have data retained for the lifetime of the account. Deleted accounts have all data permanently deleted immediately upon account deletion. Inactive accounts with no activity for 24 months may be deleted after prior notice.
Third-Party AI Provider
Seenthrough uses Anthropic's Claude AI API to perform text analysis. Submitted text is sent to Anthropic's servers for processing. Anthropic's own Privacy Policy governs their handling of this data. Seenthrough does not use submitted text to train any AI model.
Our Legal Basis for Processing (UK/EU Users)
If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, we process your data under the following legal bases:
- Contract: processing your submitted content and account details is necessary to provide the service you've signed up for.
- Legitimate interest: for basic security, fraud prevention, and improving app reliability.
- Consent: for any optional data use, such as using your content to improve our models — which we only do if you separately opt in.
Your Rights
For all users:
- Right to access your data (available through the app)
- Right to delete your account and all data (available through Profile → Delete Account)
- Right to export your data (available through Profile → Export All Data)
- Right to correct inaccurate information (contact support@seenthrough.app)
For EU/UK users (GDPR): right of access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, right to object, right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. For California residents (CCPA/CPRA): right to know what personal information we collect, right to know whether it's sold or disclosed (we do not sell personal information), right to access, right to deletion, right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights, right to correct inaccurate information, and right to limit use of sensitive personal information.

Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers (Anthropic, Supabase) operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers in accordance with applicable data protection law. For EU/UK users, transfers to the United States are made pursuant to Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate transfer mechanisms as required by GDPR.

Seenthrough's document analysis feature, including analysis of contracts and NDAs, is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. For decisions involving legal documents, please consult a qualified professional.
Age Requirement
Seenthrough is not directed at or intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete that data immediately. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the app or via email before they take effect.
